Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.

Step 2: Mix the Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, onion powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

Mix everything together gently with your hands or a fork until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this helps keep the patties tender and juicy.

Step 3: Shape the Patties

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty about ¾ inch thick. Press them together firmly enough to hold their shape without packing the meat too tightly.

Step 4: Bake

Arrange the patties on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one.

Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the patties are fully cooked and beautifully golden on the outside. If you’d like an extra cheesy finish, sprinkle a little additional cheddar over the patties during the last 5 minutes of baking.

Step 5: Serve

Let the patties rest for about 5 minutes before serving to help them stay juicy.

Serve warm with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, buttered noodles, rice, or your favorite dipping sauce.
