Free Amigurumi Bunny Crochet Pattern

This pattern describes how to crochet a small, hand-sized bunny named Karamelka. These tiny bunnies fit perfectly in the hand of a doll or a child, making them a convenient and adorable toy.

The size of your bunny will depend on the thickness of the yarn you use.

Materials:

  • Cotton yarn (I use Vita cotton Coco)
  • Crochet hook appropriate for your yarn (I use 1.25 mm)
  • Stuffing (polyester fiberfill)
  • Black beads for eyes
  • Embroidery floss for the nose
  • Decorative elements

Abbreviations:

  • MR — magic ring
  • sc — single crochet
  • dec — decrease (crochet 2 stitches together)
  • inc — increase (2 stitches in one stitch)
  • ch — chain

Legs, Body, and Head (worked as one piece)

Start with the legs. Work in a spiral, without joining rounds. Stuff as you go.

Legs (Make 2)

  1. 6 sc in MR
  2. (1 sc, inc) × 3 (9)
    3-12. 9 sc

Cut the yarn and weave in the ends on the first leg.

For the second leg, do not cut the yarn and continue to the Body:

From the second leg, chain 3 and join to the first leg.

  1. 9 sc around the first leg, 3 sc across the chain, 9 sc around the second leg, 3 sc across the chain (24)
    14-19. 24 sc (6 rounds)
  2. (2 sc, dec) × 6 (18)
    21-23. 18 sc
  3. (1 sc, dec) × 6 (12)
    25-27. 12 sc

Head

Continue from the neck without cutting the yarn:
