The finished amigurumi bear is 12-14 cm (4.7-5.5″) tall, if you use the same yarn and hook.
You will need:
- YarnArt Jeans yarn (55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 50 g/160 m)
- 1.5 mm crochet hook
- 4 mm safety eyes or black beads
- YarnArt Iris yarn (100% cotton, 20 g/138 m) for embroidering a nose
- Sewing needle
- Scissors
- Stitch marker
- Fiberfill

R – row
sc – single crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec – decrease (2 sc together)
[…] – number of stitches you should have at the end of the row
(…) – repeat whatever is between the brackets the given number of times
Arms (make 2)
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]
R 3-12: 12 sc (10 rows)
Stuff wuth fiberfill 3/4 full.
Fold the top opening flat and 5 sc through both sides.
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Legs and body
Legs (make 2)
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]
R 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [18]
R 4-9: 18 sc (6 rows)
Fasten off.
Crochet the second leg, do not fasten off.
Join the legs and crohet the body:
R 10: 18 sc on the 1st leg, 18 sc on the 2nd leg [36]
Place a stitch marker to mark beginning of the row.
Pay attention to the next rows will begin on the back of the body.
R 11-20: 36 sc (10 rows)
R 21: (4 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [30]
R 22: 30 sc
R 23: (3 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [24]
R 24: (2 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [18]
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
