Cut the yarn.

Make the second leg the same. Join the two legs with SC (make sure to crochet SC into the joining point as well).
Begin crocheting around the first leg, making an increase at the end. Then, in the second leg, make an increase at the beginning (this shapes the belly). Continue crocheting around (22).

Next round:
9 SC, INC, 2 SC, INC, 9 SC (24)

Crochet 5 rounds without increases or decreases.

Next round:
