Free Teddy Bear “Button” Crochet Pattern

Crocheted Teddy Bear “Button” by Svetlana Bolotova is small enough to fit into a child’s hand, as it measures only 12 cm. The height of the bear depends on the yarn, hook, and tightness of the stitches used. For this toy, the author used a No. 2 hook and YarnArt Jeans yarn. All the bear’s limbs are movable thanks to button joints. Please be sure to credit the author when showcasing the finished toy!

Materials Needed:

  • Yarn (any composition, preferably cotton blend)
  • Hook No. 1.5-2.0 mm
  • Beads for eyes (or safety eyes)
  • Small colorful buttons for attaching limbs
  • Needle and scissors
  • Toy stuffing (polyester fiberfill or similar)
