Free amigurumi plush bunny crochet pattern

Difficulty level: Medium

With this pattern, you can crochet a plush bunny using amigurumi technique. Any plush yarn is suitable: Himalaya Dolphin Baby, YarnArt Dolce, and others. The chest and tail are made using fluffy YarnArt Mink.

For the facial features, you’ll need strong thread for tightening and embroidering eyebrows. Eyelashes can be used optionally. You can choose your own colors for the bunny. The main color yarn usage is 1 skein.

Finished toy size — about 23 cm (29 cm with ears).

Materials and tools:

  • Himalaya Dolphin Baby yarn: 309-pink (1 skein), 308-cream (for ears, muzzle, and feet)
  • YarnArt Mink yarn: 330-white (for chest and tail)
  • YarnArt Jeans: pink (for tightening the muzzle), white and black (for eyes)
  • 4 mm crochet hook
  • 16 mm toy eyes
  • 15×13 mm toy nose
  • Stuffing for toys

Insert eyes between rows 5 and 6. Find the 4 inc stitches made in row 6, count 3 stitches from each side and insert the eyes there. Insert the nose between rows 2 and 3.

Stuff the piece. Cut the yarn, close the opening, and hide the yarn end.

With thin pink yarn, make the eye indentations. Insert the needle at the bottom of the head, bring it out under the eye, insert it again at the outer top corner of the eye, and pull it back to the starting point. Tighten and repeat for the other eye.
