Free amigurumi little pig crochet pattern

Difficulty Level: Easy

Using this description, you can crochet a piglet with a daisy. Any semi-cotton yarn will do for amigurumi, such as YarnArt Jeans or Alize Cotton Gold. All parts are crocheted in a spiral unless otherwise noted. Claws and nostrils are embroidered with the same yarn. Use safety eyes. Sew the flower to the piglet’s head.

Materials and Tools:

  • Yarn YarnArt Jeans: 18, 01, 53, 67, 20 for the tongue
  • Hook 2-2.5 mm
  • Toy eyes 12 mm
  • Stuffing for toys
  • Stitch markers
  • Pins
  • Needle for sewing parts
  • Scissors

Abbreviations:
MR — magic ring
ch — chain
sl st — slip stitch
sc — single crochet
inc — increase
dec — decrease
(…) x n — repeat n times:

Legs:

  1. 8 sc in MR (8)
  2. 8 inc (16)
  3. (1 sc, inc) x 8 (24)
  4. (2 sc, inc) x 8 (30)
  5. 30 sc in back loops only (30)
    6-8. 30 sc (30)
  6. (13 sc, dec) x 2 (28)
  7. (12 sc, dec) x 2 (26)
  8. (11 sc, dec) x 2 (24)
  9. (10 sc, dec) x 2 (22)
  10. (9 sc, dec) x 2 (20)
    14-22. 20 sc (20)

Fold the part in half and crochet 10 sc through both walls, sew a few stitches with pink thread at the bottom to visually create hooves.

Sew all parts symmetrically to the body, for this I recommend using pins, pin paired parts and alternately sew, so the arms and legs will not “shift” and the toy will be even.

Daisy:
With yellow color crochet 6 sc in MR.

With white color crochet (4 ch and sl st in the next stitch) x 6.

Then 3 ch, yo, pull up a loop in the resulting arch, yo, pull up a loop, repeat 6 times, resulting in 6 yos and 6 loops in one arch, then crochet all together and make 3 ch and sl st in the same arch.

You get a petal with a common top. Crochet each resulting arch this way. I sewed the daisy on top, but it also looks very beautiful on the side.

Body:

  1. 6 sc in MR (6)
  2. 6 inc (12)
  3. (1 sc inc) x 6 (18)
  4. (2 sc inc) x 6 (24)
  5. (3 sc inc) x 6 (30)
  6. (4 sc inc) x 6 (36)
  7. (5 sc inc) x 6 (42)
  8. (6 sc inc) x 6 (48)
  9. (7 sc inc) x 6 (54)
  10. (8 sc inc) x 6 (60)
    11-16. 60 sc (60)
  11. (8 sc, dec) x 6 (54)
    18-19. 54 sc (54)
  12. (7 sc, dec) x 6 (48)
    21-22. 48 sc (48)
  13. (6 sc, dec) x 6 (42)
  14. 42 sc (42)
  15. (5 sc, dec) x 6 (36)
  16. 36 sc (36)
  17. (4 sc, dec) x 6 (30)
  18. 30 sc (30)
  19. (3 sc, dec) x 6 (24)
  20. 24 sc (24)

Stuff the body well with filling, emphasizing the belly. Leave a long thread to sew the body to the head.
