Fasten and cut the yarn. Crochet the second pant leg the same way, fasten and cut the yarn. Fold both pieces together and crochet 6 slip stitches through both legs. You should have 31 sc on each leg.

In the next row, create an opening for the tail.

  1. 60 sc, chain 4, skip 4 sc, join the yarn to the 3rd stitch of the 6th row.
    This shifts the row’s starting point 2 stitches forward.

Fasten and cut the yarn. Attach the yarn to the 18th stitch of row 11 and crochet the upper part of the overalls with sc. Then, finish row 11, fasten and cut the yarn.

Straps (2 pieces)
Put the overalls on the kitten, crochet a chain (leaving long tails on both sides) periodically measuring it against the overalls. When the length is right, finish the chain and sew the straps to the overalls (I used 20 ch). For the kitty, crochet ruffles around the bottom of the overalls — ch 3, skip 1 sc. Sew on the buttons.

Bow
In the magic ring, crochet: ch 3, 2 dc, ch 3, sl st, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 3, sl st.

Tighten the ring and wrap the bow in the center a few times. Sew the bow to the kitty’s ear. Embroider the face following the photo for reference.
