Start with the main color:

1. 2 ch, 6 sc in the second chain from the hook (6)
2. (inc) x 6 (12)
3. (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)
4. (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24)
   5-7. 24 sc (24)
5. change color to red (color of the sweater) evenly
6. Be sure (!) to crochet into the back loop only
   10-11. 24 sc. Cut the thread, hide the end. This is the edge of the sweater (24)
   Return to row 9, crochet into the front loop evenly (24)
7. 24 sc
8. (6 sc, dec) x 3 (21)
   12-14. 21 sc
9. (5 sc, dec) x 3 (18)
   16-17. 18 sc

Stuff, tighten.

Back Legs (2 pieces)
Start with white color:

1. 8 sc in a ring
   2-3. 8 sc, change color
   4-9. 8 sc, stuff, tighten

Front Legs (2 pieces)
Start with white color:

1. 8 sc in a ring
   2-3. 8 sc, change color
   4-5. 8 sc, main color
   6-9. 8 sc, red color

Stuff, tighten.

Tail
Low double crochet as follows: yarn over, pull the loop from the previous row and crochet everything together at once: the loop on the hook, the yarn over, and the pulled loop.

1. 2 ch, 6 sc in the second chain from the hook (6), white color
2. 6 sc
   Change color to the main color
3. 6 sc
   4-6. 3 sl st, 3 dc (6)
   7-9. 6 sc

The tail should curl. I didn’t stuff the tail, just added a bit of synthetic padding before sewing at the base of the tail. Sew in a circle.

Collar
31 ch

1. dec (second and third chains from the hook), 27 sc, dec (last two chains)
2. ch, dec, 1 sc — to the end of the row

Gather the last row on a thread and secure it around the neck after assembly.
