Free amigurumi baby dragon crochet pattern

Using this description, you can crochet a small dragon from acrylic yarn. Any acrylic yarn is suitable for amigurumi. The author recommends using Children’s Novelty yarn and a suitable hook. The toy’s body is seamless. The muzzle and wings are sewn on. The dragon’s crest is crocheted directly on the body. Decorative stripes are embroidered on the belly. Use any colors (2 pieces). The toy can be made as a keychain.

Finished toy size — about 8-10 cm.

Hands (2 pieces), slightly stuffed at the beginning:

  1. 6 sc in MR
  2. (inc, sc) x 3 = 9 sc
  3. 9 sc
  4. 3 sc, 2 dec, 2 sc = 7 sc
    5-7. 7 sc (3 rows)

Fold in half and crochet 3 sc.

Legs-body:

  1. 6 sc in MR
  2. 6 inc = 12 sc
  3. 12 sc in back loop only
  4. 4 sc, 2 dec, 4 sc = 10 sc
    One leg is ready. Make the second leg the same + 3 sc, make 3 ch and join the legs.
  5. 10 sc on one leg, 3 sc on the chain, 10 sc on the second leg, 3 sc on the chain = 26 sc
  6. Crochet in the round, on the belly 4 inc = 30 sc
